Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has successfully concluded a three-day training on the FIFA Connect and Competition Management System (CMS) for football administrators drawn from all five regions of the country.

The capacity-building session, held in Bo City, aimed to enhance the efficiency and digital management of football operations nationwide.

Participants expressed deep appreciation to SLFA President, Mr. Babadi Kamara, for his continued dedication to strengthening football administration across Sierra Leone. Many described the training as timely and transformative, particularly in aligning local football management with global best practices.

Delivering his closing remarks, SLFA Vice President, His Lordship Alie Badara Tarawalie, extended gratitude to the facilitators from Liberia and acknowledged the Liberia Football Association for their collaboration and support. He urged participants to share the knowledge gained with colleagues in their respective regions to ensure wider impact.

Lead facilitator, Mr. Joel S. Freeman Snr., commended the high level of engagement and commitment demonstrated by participants throughout the sessions, expressing optimism about the future of football administration in Sierra Leone.

The closing ceremony was attended by members of the SLFA Executive Committee, the Acting General Secretary, and staff of the Sierra Leone Football Association.
