Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected two Sierra Leonean officials to referee a crucial Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying match between Tanzania and Ethiopia.
The match is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Azam Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
According to the appointment, Aminata Fullah will serve as the Central Referee, while her compatriot Agnes Abdul Gbla will act as Assistant Referee 1.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has expressed full confidence in the duo. In a statement, the SLFA extended its best wishes to Fullah and Abdul Gbla, stating it is confident they will “represent the nation with excellence, integrity, and professionalism.”
The appointment is seen as a significant recognition of the quality and reliability of Sierra Leonean match officials on the continental stage.
