Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The University of Sierra Leone has announced the proposed congregation fees for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The fees are as follows:
Ph.D: Le 6,000
M.Phil: Le 4,000
MA/M.Ed./M.Sc.: Le 3,500
Undergraduate: Le 3,000
Diploma: Le 2,000
Compared to the previous academic year, the University has reduced the congregation fees slightly. The change applies across all levels of study, providing a lower cost for students attending the graduation ceremony.
The fees cover personalised degree certificates, regalia rental for all students except Ph.D candidates, and administrative costs related to the graduation process.
Payments are to be made at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, using Account Number: 913146, under the name University of Sierra Leone – University Registrar.
The notice was issued by the University Registrar in October 2025. Students are advised to make payments on time to ensure participation in the upcoming congregation.
