Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of its Vice President II, Mr. Prince Saquee, by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) as Match Commissioner for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Preliminary Competition African Zone – Play-Off Tournament, scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco.

Mr. Saquee will oversee two key fixtures in the tournament, starting with the Nigeria vs. Gabon encounter on 13 November 2025 at the C.S. Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium, kicking off at 17:00 hrs (16:00 GMT).

He will also serve as Match Commissioner for the Final match between the winners of the two semi-finals on 16 November 2025, at the same venue, starting at 20:00 hrs (19:00 GMT).

This prestigious FIFA appointment highlights Mr. Saquee’s exceptional professionalism and integrity in football administration. It also reflects the growing international recognition of Sierra Leone’s leadership and participation in global football governance.
