The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is set to auction an ultra-modern seaside mansion and two other high-value properties as part of ongoing efforts to recover billions of leones lost through corruption at the National Revenue Authority (NRA).

According to the Commission, the properties will be sold either by public auction or private treaty following a court order that declared them unexplained wealth. Proceeds from the sale will be returned to the people of Sierra Leone without delay.

The flagship property, described as one of the most modern and beautifully finished homes in the country, is a fully furnished, three-storey seaside residence equipped with complete electronic security, smart e-home systems, and state-of-the-art finishing. The house includes a penthouse offering a panoramic three-dimensional view of the sea from both the bedroom and living area.

Beyond the main living spaces, the property also features a meticulously designed waiting area, poolside facilities, and boys’ quarters, all completed to modern international standards. A reserved price will be determined after a professional valuation exercise.

The ACC emphasized that the sale is backed by a valid court order and forms part of its broader mandate to recover stolen public funds and restore them to national use. Prospective buyers with legitimate funds have been encouraged to prepare, as the properties will be made available once valuation processes are concluded.

The Commission noted that the action reflects the government’s intensified anti-corruption drive, describing it as clear evidence of accountability and enforcement under the leadership of President Julius Maada Bio.

“Open your eyes, people-the revolution is real,” the Commission stated, underscoring its commitment to ensuring that public resources lost to corruption are recovered and returned to the citizens of Sierra Leone.
