Following information making the rounds on social media about unpublished friendly matches of the national team in Dubai left many wondering whether the Sierra Leone Football Association has become a secret society.<\/p>\n

confirming the rumours from personal social media posts of some players from their social media accounts justifies the above assertion about the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).Though the rationale behind shrouding the friendly matches in secrecy is not made to the public, the SLFA must take into consideration that the team is being sponsored by taxpayers\u2019 money and the public deserves the right to know about the whereabouts of the team.<\/p>\n

Many aggrieved football-loving fans in the country have intimated Sierraloaded sports desk that the SLFA should have released an earlier Press Release updating the public about these friendly matches rather than players updating the public about the said upcoming matches.<\/p>\n

At the time of this write-up, rumours making the rounds the team is on its way to Dubai ahead of Sierra Leone\u2019s friendly matches with Rwanda and Algeria.<\/p>\n

18hrs ago, Leone Stars forward Rodney Micheal posted on the Facebook story of his travelling to Dubai ahead of their undisclosed friendly matches.<\/p>\n

Among the unveiled players for the match were Sierra Leone sensational twins Alhassan and Alusine and Jay Tee who update the public on Social media as they depart Spain for Dubai.<\/p>\n

The said undisclosed friendlies are scheduled to take place with Rwanda and Algeria on the 16th and 18th respectively.<\/p>\n

This action of the SLFA President Thomas Daddy Brima has sparked reactions from Sierra Leoneans who are questioning if the change he promised to bring in Sierra Leone Football is turning the body into a secret society.<\/p>\n

This among other things has sparked flames of controversies in the minds of Sierra Leoneans who are doubting the true motive of the Football Association.<\/p>\n

Many football fanatics have also urged the President, Thomas Daddy Brima to do the needful and the government of Sierra Leone to invest more in female football as they seem to be producing more results than the male side.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe national team belongs to the people of Sierra Leone is our baby please keep us informed. Do not just snick out with our national team out of the country without informing Sierra Leoneans. This is completely unacceptable we watching the space please do the needful now. There is a media department at the FA secretariat why keeping us in a dark? Let\u2019s get information regarding these two friendly matches it is our national team it belongs to all of us, not the minister of sports or the FA president.
