Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Julius Maada Bio Women\u2019s Wing and Associates (JMB) on Friday, November 25 2022 staged a successful fundraising dinner at an event that also witnessed the grand inauguration of National Officers of the Sierra Leone People\u2019s Party.<\/a><\/p>\n

The colourful event that was held at the Bintumani International Conference Centre in Freetown attracted members, supporters, sympathizers and friends of the SLPP.<\/p>\n

The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr Fatima Maada Bio said the event was meant to appreciate the unique and dynamic leadership being provided by the SLPP Presidential Candidate, Brig. Rtd. Julius Maada Bio.She celebrated her husband\u2019s women\u2019s empowerment credentials, noting that she is a typical example and beneficiary of the support women receive from His Excellency.<\/a><\/p>\n

The First Lady underscored that President Bio has many friends who believe in him and his leadership and are willing to give their millions and billions of Leones to ensure he succeeds in all his endeavours.<\/p>\n

She disclosed that the JMB Women\u2019s Wing and Associates have raised Five Billion Leones from people who believe in the President and the SLPP on ticket sales from the event.Mrs Fatima Bio informed that the fundraising is part of their contributions to President Bio and the party.<\/p>\n

In his appreciation statement, H.E Dr Julius Maada Bio expressed appreciation to the JMB women and Associates and SLPP for their efforts and support and also for ensuring that the party raises enough funds for the 2023 general elections.<\/p>\n

President Bio assured that he will continue to provide quality leadership for his party and the people of Sierra Leone while calling on all supporters and sympathizers of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) to give their support towards the development of theparty and the nation.\r\n
