Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Sierra Leonean-born Chelsea Defender Trevoh Chalobah has a six-year contract extension at Chelsea, which will keep the defender at Stamford Bridge until 2028.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trevoh Chalobah\u2019s new deal will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2028. The 23-year-old has signed his second contract extension in the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

Chalobah forced his way into Graham Potter\u2019s starting side in recent weeks. Owner Todd Boehly said Chalobah is an important part of the first-team squad.The deal is a reward for Chalobah after the defender forced his way into Graham Potter\u2019s side \u2013 starting their last seven Premier League matches.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re delighted that Trevoh will be extending his stay with Chelsea,\u201d said Boehly and co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali.<\/p>\n

He has been with us since childhood and has grown into an exceptional young player.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s an important part of our men\u2019s first-team squad and we\u2019re excited to see what\u2019s next for Trevoh at Chelsea.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Blues bounced back from a slow start to the campaign to top their Champions League group, finishing ahead of the Italian champions.<\/p>\n

Although born in Sierra Leone, Chalobah has represented England at multiple youth levels and since 2019 has earned three Under 21 caps.<\/p>\n
