Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Former presidential candidate of the All People\u2019s Congress (APC), Dr. Samura Kamara has formally declared his intention to contest for the party\u2019s flagbearer position ahead of the party\u2019s primaries in preparations for June 2023 general elections.<\/p>\n

<\/a>He made his declaration before hundreds of supporters at the party\u2019s Headquarters in Makeni.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2018 the phrase was \u201cYou Sabi am\u201d, today in 2023, the phrase is \u201cYes we sabi am\u201d, the former flagbearer told a cheering crowd at the party\u2019s district headquarters in Makeni.In 2018, Dr. Samura Kamara was pronounced a the flagbearer of the APC by former president Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma in a selection process that was unanimously made by the APC NAC. But this time around, he will be going against other top guns of APC in the race for the position during the National Delegates Conference.<\/p>\n
