Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Africa is often considered an untapped opportunity, with a plethora of resources and a diverse population. With its vibrant and growing startup ecosystem, the continent is gradually becoming a global player in the technology industry.<\/p>\n

However, Africa’s startup ecosystem remains largely untapped, and many investors are yet to fully grasp the potential of the continent’s budding tech landscape.<\/p>\n

To shed more light on the African startup system and attract more foreign direct investments to the continent, Norrsken Africa is organizing the Africa Week. The event, which will take place on November 8 to 9 in Kigali, will bring together the leading players in the global and African startup ecosystem, with a focus on the continent’s budding ecosystem landscape.<\/p>\n

Pascal Murasira, the Managing Director for Norrsken East Africa, explains: \u201cthe Africa Week will bring together the continent’s leading startups and entrepreneurs and the world’s leading investors under one roof to speak and act on the African opportunity.”<\/p>\n

The event aims to showcase Africa’s startup ecosystem, highlighting the potential of the continent’s young and innovative entrepreneurs. It will also provide a platform for startups to connect with investors, share ideas, and discuss ways to scale their businesses.<\/p>\n

The Africa Week event will also feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions. These sessions will focus on topics such as investment, innovation, and technology in Africa, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the African startup ecosystem.<\/p>\n

According to Pascal Murasira, “Africa’s startup ecosystem is growing into one of the most sought-after, with year-on-year increments in funding and traction. Africa’s startups have an unmatched upside, and the Norrsken Africa week is the one place that will bring the ecosystem together.”<\/p>\n

In recent years, Africa has seen a surge in startup activity, with an increasing number of young entrepreneurs taking advantage of the continent’s untapped potential. According to a report by Partech Ventures, African startups raised a record $2.02 billion in 2019, up from $1.25 billion in 2018.<\/p>\n

With the Norrsken Africa Week, the continent’s startup ecosystem is set to receive a significant boost, as more investors and entrepreneurs become aware of the potential of Africa’s tech landscape.<\/p>\n
