Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Sierra Leone\u2019s main opposition party, the All Peoples Congress (APC) has opened applications from all interested and qualified party members who intend to be considered for the award of the party\u2019s symbol for parliamentary, mayoral, district chairperson, and councilor positions for the 24 June general elections.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The party made this announcement in a press release issued on 23 March 2023, calling for applications through its National Secretariat.<\/p>\n

In the release, the APC indicated the different amounts for every position that a member intends to run for ahead of the elections and the deadline.According to them, the deadline for the submission of all applications is on Monday 3rd April 2023 at exactly 5 pm.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019The National Secretariat hereby invites applications from all interested and qualified All Peoples Congress (APC) members who intend to be considered for the award of the party\u2019s symbol for parliamentary, mayoral, district chairperson, and councilor positions for the forthcoming 24 June 2023 Local Council and Parliamentary Elections.<\/p>\n

All interested applicants must purchase an application brochure from the national secretariat and pay the required non-refundable application fee provided below.<\/p>\n

Brochure Fee \u2013 Nle. 200.00 (Two Hundred New Leones)<\/p>\n

Parliamentary Application Fee- Nle. 5,000.00 (Five Thousand New Leones)<\/p>\n

<\/a>Mayoral\/Chairperson Application Fee -Nle. 3000,00 (Three Thousand New Leones)<\/p>\n

Councillor Application Fee \u2013 Nle. 1,000.00 (One Thousand New Leones)<\/p>\n

All fees must be paid into the party\u2019s account at Rokel Commercial Bank, account number \u2013 1086762<\/p>\n

Applicants must pay the brochure fee separately from the application fee.<\/p>\n

The deadline for the receipt of all completed application forms is no later than 5 pm on Monday 3 April 2023\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n
