Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL),with support from UNDP Sierra Leone, has on Saturday, 29th April, 2023 engaged the electoral education committees ahead of the June general elections.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Committee comprised of the youths, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), women and town criers respectively. The training was focused on the code of conduct and uniform messaging before, during and after the general elections in Kono district.<\/p>\n

The Electoral Coordinators also replicated briefings for locality electoral education committees on same in Falaba, Koinadugu, Karene and Kailahun, Portloko and Moyamba Districts.<\/p>\n

The Commission\u2019s department of inclusion in collaboration with sight savers on same date concluded a 2-day sensitization of the hearing and speech impaired voters at the Hotel Cabenda in Freetown.<\/p>\n
