Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Shooting Starlets from Freetown has on Tuesday 16th May, 2023 departed for the Eastern City- Kenema ahead of the West Africa Football Union Competition.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The departed delegation consist of 22 players and 14 officials who left Freetown for the eastern region city \u2013 Kenema where the Sierra Leone female U20 team will be camped in preparation for the West Africa Football Union Competition.<\/p>\n

It could be recalled that, two officials from the West Africa football Union (WAFU) \u2013 the Assistant Secretary General for the union, Fatou Ndong and the Coordinator for WAFU Zone \u2013 A, Mohamed Jiddou recently visited the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) ahead of the U20 female tournament in connection to understand and heightened the preparation status of the country for the U20 female tournament which is to be hosted in Bo and Kenema respectively.<\/p>\n
