Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Sierra Leone\u2019s main opposition party, the All People\u2019s Congress (APC), strongman, Ady Macauley, recently took to Twitter and highlighted four things that matter in Sierra Leone, while voicing his concerns over recent petition against opposition presidential Candidate Samura kamara.He declared that no amount of bogus and misdirected legal action would distract the resilient people of Sierra Leone from the issues that truly mattered.<\/p>\n

Ady Macauley emphasized the stark reality of everyday life where he highlighted four key factors that he said matters in sierra Leone at present.He pointed out that a single liter of petrol commanded an exorbitant price of Le 21,500, while a bag of rice, a staple food for many, cost a staggering Le 650,000.<\/p>\n

To compound the struggles, the exchange rate left the people grappling with an unrelenting burden as $1 dollar sold for Le 23,350.<\/p>\n

Despite these pressing concerns, he criticized the electoral commission of Sierra Leone for its refusal to publish the voter register, causing further frustration among the public.<\/p>\n

These events unfolded following a petition filed by Mr. Paul M. Kamara, a former Flagbearer aspirant and Minister of Sports under the APC, to the supreme court challenging the candidacy of Dr. Samura Kamara, the current APC presidential candidate.<\/p>\n
