Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has officially released Sierra Leone International Kallum Cesay, along with several other players, in preparation for the upcoming 2023\/24 season.<\/p>\n

<\/a>In a statement released on Thursday, the club confirmed the departures of Development Squad players Jamie Bowden Kallum Cesay, Malachi Fagan-Walcott, Roshaun Mathurin, Marqes Muir, and Romaine Mundle as their contracts came to an end. Additionally, Under-18 players Thomas Bloxham, Brandon Bryan-Waugh, and Riley Owen have also left the club following the conclusion of their scholarships.<\/p>\n

<\/a>\u201cTottenham Hotspur wishes all the departing players the best of luck in the next stage of their careers,\u201d the club announced.<\/p>\n

Kallum Cesay, a 20-year-old talent who made his Sierra Leone debut in March 2022, showcased his skills by scoring a match-winning brace on his international debut against Congo-Brazzaville, securing a 2-1 victory. Prior to his time at Tottenham, Cesay had previously played for West Ham United.<\/p>\n

During his tenure with Tottenham, Cesay made notable contributions, scoring two goals in 15 appearances across various competitions for the Under-18s in the 2019\/20 season.<\/p>\n

He continued his progress in the following season, finding the back of the net four times in 18 appearances at the Under-18 level while also making a single appearance for the Development Squad in the Premier League 2.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The 2021\/22 campaign proved to be an eventful one for Cesay, as he had the opportunity to feature for Tottenham\u2019s first team in pre-season matches and was named as a substitute in two UEFA Europa Conference League matches.<\/p>\n

In the recently concluded season, Kallum Cesay demonstrated his potential, making 24 appearances for the Tottenham Hotspur Under-21 Premier League 2 Division One side.<\/p>\n
