Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) has commenced validation process on the draft National Policy on business and human rights in Makeni city.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The Validation process according to them may cover the Northern Region and the north-western regions. This was supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Sierra Leone and the Ireland embassy in Sierra Leone respectively.<\/p>\n

The commission in partnership with the PPRC, NCD, ICPNC, SLLC has engaged the Sierra Leone police executive on a mediation for peace and the way forward concerning the political impasse after the June 24 multi-tier elections in the country.<\/p>\n
