Government of Sierra Leone Announces Inauguration Ceremony For Newly Elected Mayors And Councilors

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, has unveiled plans for the upcoming inauguration of the newly elected Mayors\/Chairpersons, their Deputies, and Councilors representing the 22 Local Councils in Sierra Leone.<\/a><\/p>\n

In an official statement, the Ministry conveyed that the Honorable Vice President, also serving as the Chairman of the Inter Ministerial Committee on Local Governance, will preside over the official inauguration proceedings.<\/p>\n

This significant event is scheduled to unfold across Sierra Leone\u2019s five regional headquarters as follows:<\/p>\n

Southern Region: The ceremony will commence on Thursday, 10th August, 2023, at the Bo District Council Hall, with proceedings set to begin promptly at 9:00 am.<\/p>\n
