The ruling will delve into whether APC complied with the court order on getting five delegates each in 132 constituencies and properly adopted the party reviewed constitutionNo fixed data was initially announced before the high court judge retired for the ruling. APC\u2019s political future, without doubt, is uncertain. The date for the judgement has been postponed next week, a credible APC source says.<\/p>\n

Hopes however exist that judgment would come from the learned judge at all cost. Justice Fischer also handles the case of APC\u2019s former flag bearer, Dr. Samura Kamara who answering to charges of embezzlement of public funds and deceiving a principal. Kamara is currently APC\u2019s flag-bearer favourite for 2023, but he, like the party faces an uncertain future.No one can predict the outcome of criminal prosecution in the high court especially for corruption offences. If Samura is convicted of the crimes for which he is standing trial, the court may opt either for a pecuniary or custodial punishment.<\/p>\n

A popular view however holds that the judicial body may not hesitate to go for the latter despite his low stature, Kamara is slowly becoming a thorn in SLPP\u2019s flesh in terms of popularity.<\/p>\n

Policies and programmers he has stockpiled have earned him considerable followership. Crowds follow him anywhere he goes. A sitting or incumbent President does not tolerate a big threat that would hunt him in the not-too distant future.<\/p>\n

As it stands, APC is currently stuck. the party cannot embark on active internal politicking pending the court\u2019s outcome. A delay of APC\u2019s political activities through the court, is clear like crystals. The famously known judicial principle that justice delayed is justice denied is very much relevant here.<\/p>\n

According to Nightwatch Newspaper, APC\u2019s political strength is being lessened and weakened through delayed court matters. 2022 is here, and 2023 will also be here soon. The pending political situation makes a clear case why APC should not be delayed in the court.<\/p>\n

Time is running out, and time and tide waits for no man. Procrastination is a thief of time. APC is failing to plan and he who fails to plan, plans to fail but how long will APC plan?<\/p>\n

An opposition politician has anonymously told this press that the delayed court matter appeared as a ploy to keep APC waiting. It also appears that APC\u2019s political pedigree threatens the ruling party as great many sierra Leoneans remain quite optimistic that APC would win the election immediately, they get a flag-bearer.<\/p>\n
