Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Henry Musa Kpaka, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security has revealed that, Kono District is key to the success of the Feed Salone project launched by President Bio.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Minister maintained that, the people are are working harder towards Agricultural Productions to change the narrative from depending on diamond to being Agricultural champions which may inturn serve as a key to the success of the Feed Salone project in the country. He added that both the stakeholders and farmers are very ready and inclusive to making sure that the plan works.<\/p>\n

He furthered that, changing the narrative into a positive one, where the district can start taking the lead into the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cKono is key to the success of #FeedSalone. The stakeholders, and farmers are onboard. They told me that cash crops are the new diamond. We decided to work together to write a new script for Kono- where they are not only known for diamonds, but as bread basket of #SierraLeone\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

The Minister has earlier revealed that, his ministry did a lot of good work in the year 2023 as that helped push the platform for an aggressive takeoff in 2024.<\/p>\n
