Expressing his concerns, Marrah emphasized the disruptive impact of street vendors and their loudspeakers, citing popular calls like \u201cOga ar beg,\u201d \u201cCoco Samba,\u201d and \u201cNew money old money are dey change.\u201d He urged the mayor to intervene, stating, \u201cMadam Mayor, please also help us with the growing cacophonies in and around the CBD. They are disturbing the peace and quiet of the business district. We can still be poor and decorous.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding to Marrah\u2019s plea, Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr acknowledged the issue and assured the public that action is underway. In her statement, she said, \u201cYes indeed Augustine Sorie-Sengbe.
