Bashiru Silikie, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of Works and Public Assets, has urged the Minister of Works and Public Assets, Dr. Dennis Sandy, and the China Railway Seventh Group (CRSG) to halt the scheduled implementation of new toll gate charges set for March 1st, 2024.<\/p>\n

Hon. Silikie emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, urging the Minister and CRSG to present to Parliament a draft review of the proposed toll gate charges. He specifically requested supporting documents, including the new price formula, traffic data, and financial reports related to the toll gate charges.<\/p>\n
