Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Chairman of the eastern region football association, Prince Kai Saquee has on the 25th February 2024 handed over the consignments for the rehabilitation of the Koidu city community field in Kono district.<\/b><\/p>\n

He maintained that, as part of the development of football and the pitches in the country, they are working greatly to ensure that, the spirit of the game is maintained at all times for which he is in Kono District for and on behalf of the leadership of the Sierra Leone Football Association to get the materials to the contractor and ensure commencement of work as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

He assured the people of Kono that, the leadership of the Football Association is working harder to get development in every area in the country in terms of football and thanked the SLFA for their prompt action in actualising the dreams of the people of Kono and football fans in the district.<\/p>\n

The Mayor of Koidu-New Sembehun City Council-Komba Sam, expressed his profound thanks and appreciation for on behalf of his people to the Chairman of ERFA and SLFA for thinking of his city and extending the development that will help improve the spirit of the game adding that, it is a Blessing for his own City to be among those with the ongoing massive Football Development in the Country.<\/p>\n

He assured the Regional Chairman that The Council in collaboration with the District\u2019s FA will perform an oversight function in seeing that the job is perfectly done and on time.<\/p>\n
