Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>In a proactive move against drug trafficking in Freetown, the Operations Team of the Harbour Police Division conducted raids early on Sunday morning, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a significant amount of Kush drugs.<\/p>\n

The first raid targeted the residence of 18-year-old Amadu Lawrence Williams located at 19 Savage Square, Freetown. Williams was found in possession of 97 wraps of Kush, a potent strain of cannabis. Following this operation, the team swiftly moved to another location in the east end of Freetown, targeting the premises of 48-year-old Ibrahim Sillah, also known as Sukar, of Lowcost Street. Sillah was apprehended with 52 wraps of Kush.<\/p>\n

Both suspects were taken into custody along with the seized exhibits and are currently being held for further investigation. The Harbour Police Division emphasized their commitment to curbing drug-related activities in the area.<\/p>\n

LUC Kpulun, the leading figure of the Harbour Police Division, expressed his unwavering dedication to eradicating drug trafficking in Freetown. \u201cMy area of responsibility is not a safe haven for drug dealers,\u201d stated LUC Kpulun. He further emphasized the support of the local communities under his command in ensuring the success of these operations. \u201cWith the support of the communities under my command, no drug dealer will survive this operation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

LUC Kpulun\u2019s relentless efforts and focused stance on combating the illicit drug trade, particularly Kush, have garnered praise for the Sierra Leone Police. His dedication to maintaining the safety and well-being of the community has resonated with many, earning him respect and admiration.<\/p>\n

The raids conducted by the Harbour Police Division highlight the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to tackle drug-related crimes and protect the citizens of Freetown.
