Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Commissioner of National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina together with the Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone Wang Qing visited the Bo Government Secondary School in Bo.<\/b><\/p>\n

The purpose of the visit is part of the commission\u2019s community-driven approach to alleviating social problems in Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n

In his welcome address, the Principal of Bo School Edward Mustapha Kpaka welcomed the distinguished visitors to the renowned school which was established to train leaders of the country, while the Vice Principal gave a brief history of the school. The Paramount Chief Prince Lappia Boima the Fourth stated on behalf of the Board of Directors and the People of Bo Kakua Chiefdom.<\/p>\n

The Commissioner in his statement extended President Julius Maada Bio\u2019s felicitation to the entire school and expressed gratitude to Bo School.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a great institution that has produced so many leaders, including the Executive President of the Republic of Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio\u201d.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by thunderous applause, the Diplomatic International Development Expert and Rebranding Strategist ushered in the Ambassador of China, His Excellency Wang Qing to make the keynote address.<\/p>\n

The Chinese Ambassador described the Bo School as a school with a rich history and heritage that has produced a significant portion of Sierra Leonean leaders. He used the occasion as an opportunity to express China\u2019s commitment to the human capital development drive of President Bio.<\/p>\n

The Chinese Ambassador made some donations to the school including 20 Quotas of Chinese Ambassadorial Scholarship in 2024, which will enable the Principal, staff, and selected students to travel to China for a visit, a set of Computer, and a set of Jerseys and five footballs for the school team.<\/p>\n

After a conducted tour of the school compound, the Chinese Ambassador expressed interest in contributing to the infrastructural development of the school and exploring the possibilities of learning Chinese Language at the Bo school.<\/p>\n
