Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The Sierra Leone U-20 Female National Team has today Monday, May 13th commenced preparations for the upcoming West African Football Union (WAFU) U-20 Female Tournament in Senegal with their first training session at the SLFA Academy.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Fatmata Turay expressed optimism about the team\u2019s performance, citing confidence in their ability to excel in the tournament.<\/p>\n

The team has intensified training with high spirits and determination ahead of the 2024 Female U-20 tournaments scheduled from 20th to 30th May 2024.<\/p>\n

The Organisers have confirmed that the draw for the U-20 girls Senegal 2024 tournament will take place this Wednesday May 15, 2024 at the Headquarters of the in Dakar.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Fatmata Turay recently unveiled the squad of 20 talented players who are set to represent the nation in the prestigious competition.<\/p>\n

Coach Fatmata Turay expressed confidence in her squad, emphasizing their readiness to showcase their skills on the international stage and make Sierra Leone proud. The selected players, comprising a mix of defenders, midfielders, and forwards, represent some of the finest talents from various clubs across the country.<\/p>\n

Among the players selected are standout talents such as Ishatu A. Koroma, Fatmata L. Kamara, and Salamatu S. Kamara, who have proven themselves in their respective clubs including Koya Queens FC, Mogbwemo Queens FC, and Mena Queens FC. The squad boasts a balance of experience and youthful vigor, with players like Marie Kamara and Isata Mansaray bringing their expertise to the team.<\/p>\n
