Departing from Freetown in the early hours of Friday, May 31, 2024, the team is in preparation for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match against Djibouti on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.<\/b><\/p>\n

The delegation comprises home-based players, technical officials, and representatives from the government and the Sierra Leone Football Association. Other members of the delegation based abroad (foreign based players and officials) are expected to join the camp later this evening.<\/p>\n

The team is currently lodged at the prestigious Pullman Hotels and Resorts, ensuring a comfortable stay as they gear up for the crucial encounter.<\/p>\n

Ranked 126th globally, Sierra Leone enters the match as the favorite against Djibouti, who sit 66 places below them. The 15,000-seater Ben M\u2019Hamed El Abdi Stadium will provide the backdrop for this significant encounter.
