Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima, recently took to social media to express his appreciation for the latest round of coaching training sessions organized under his administration. <\/b><\/p>\n

This initiative is part of a larger commitment to advancing the country\u2019s football development, a central focus of Brima\u2019s leadership since he took office in 2021.<\/p>\n

Brima, who campaigned with a promise to prioritize capacity building, highlighted the strides made by the SLFA in enhancing the skills and certification levels of local coaches. \u201cEvery year, over 100 coaches are trained and certified with SLFA Coaching B Certificates,\u201d Brima said. He credited the success of the program to the dedicated efforts of the SLFA Technical Department, whose commitment he praised as essential to the initiative\u2019s impact on the national coaching landscape.<\/p>\n

The SLFA Coaching B Certificate program has seen remarkable growth, aiming to elevate the technical standards and tactical understanding of Sierra Leonean coaches at various levels.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s program witnessed a record number of participants who underwent rigorous training designed to equip them with advanced skills and modern coaching methodologies.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will continue to deliver,\u201d Brima affirmed, pledging sustained support for coaching development in Sierra Leone. With this continued emphasis on professional training, Brima and his administration hope to foster a generation of highly skilled coaches capable of elevating the quality of football across the nation.<\/p>\n

The SLFA\u2019s ongoing investment in coaching development aligns with broader goals to improve Sierra Leone\u2019s competitive standing in regional and international football.<\/p>\n
