Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Justice Allan B. Holloway has formally rejected his suspension from office and the withholding of his salary, describing both actions as illegal and in violation of constitutional principles.<\/p>\n

In a letter addressed to the Director General of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), Justice Holloway stated that the decision taken against him is \u201cpremature, procedurally flawed, and unconstitutional.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further dismissed the directive from the Judicial and Legal Service Commission (JLSC), signed by the Hon. Chief Justice in his capacity as Chairman, as invalid.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe so-called order of the JLSC signed by Hon. Chief Justice and Chairman of the JLSC aforesaid…is null and void,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Justice Holloway has called for an immediate reversal of the decision, insisting that the suspension not only undermines judicial independence but also violates constitutional safeguards.<\/p>\n
