Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The administration of the Prince of Wales Secondary School has broken its silence following a viral video showing a disturbing incident of student bullying within the school premises.<\/p>\n

The footage, which circulated widely on social media earlier this week, shows a group of male students physically and verbally assaulting a fellow pupil. The video has sparked nationwide outrage and renewed calls for discipline and accountability in schools.<\/p>\n

In response to the incident, Liberty Online TV visited the school\u2019s campus to engage with members of the administration and gain clarity on the situation. School authorities confirmed that they are aware of the video and have launched an internal investigation to identify the students involved and determine the circumstances surrounding the altercation.<\/p>\n

According to a statement from the administration, disciplinary measures are being taken in line with the school\u2019s code of conduct and the guidelines set by the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not condone any form of violence, intimidation, or bullying among our students,\u201d a senior school official emphasized. \u201cThis institution stands for excellence, discipline, and character, and we will ensure that those responsible face appropriate consequences,\u201d the Principal stated.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales School, one of Sierra Leone\u2019s most historic educational institutions, has long been known for its academic achievements and moral standards. However, the recent video has reignited public debate over student behavior and the growing influence of peer pressure and social media among young people.<\/p>\n

Parents, alumni, and advocacy groups have since called for stricter monitoring within schools, as well as the inclusion of counseling and mentorship programs to address behavioral issues before they escalate.
