The new facility marks a major milestone in strengthening the nation\u2019s digital infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration ceremony was attended by His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, underscoring the strategic national importance of the installation.<\/p>\n<p>Sylvanus Redwood-Sawyer, Chief Technical Officer of Orange Sierra Leone, described the Bo facility as the company\u2019s disaster recovery data centre\u2014its second major installation following the establishment of the primary centre in Freetown. He noted that the investment reinforces the company\u2019s commitment to technological resilience and reliable nationwide service delivery.<\/p>\n<p>President Kamara\u2019s presence at the event reflects the SLFA\u2019s growing alignment with national digital transformation efforts. Under his leadership, the Association has rolled out several technological systems\u2014including the FIFA Connect platform, the Competition Management System (CMS), and the Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS)\u2014aimed at improving data integrity, strengthening administrative efficiency, and enhancing transparency in football governance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFootball development must evolve with technology,\u201d President Kamara said during the engagement. \u201cThe SLFA is committed to digitising player and official data in line with global best practices.
