Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, Executive Director of the NSA, opened the session by stressing on the power of unity within the sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can achieve more when we continue working together,\u201d Abdulai said. \u201cThe NSA has developed several regulations for Parliamentary approval, including the Sports Development Fund, which will significantly ease financial challenges once ratified.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted ongoing projects, such as the installation of an artificial turf in Kailahun, as a testament to the sector\u2019s growth under current leadership.<\/p>\n<p>NSA Board Chairman, Ibrahim Nyelenkeh, commended the leadership team and reiterated the Board\u2019s role in ensuring robust financial management and transparency.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Mariatu Rachael Pessima, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Oversight Committee on Sports, described the retreat as a \u201cpositive step for strategic planning\u201d and pledged her committee\u2019s support in positioning the NSA for long-term success.<\/p>\n<p>In her keynote address, the Minister of Sports, Augusta James-Teima, officially opened the retreat.
