Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The College for Human Rights Education and Professional Studies has successfully concluded its maiden orientation session for newly admitted students, ahead of the official commencement of academic activities.<\/p>\n

The orientation, held on Saturday, 21st February 2026, at the college premises located at No. 1 Blackhall Road, PWD, Freetown, brought together debutant students who were introduced to the institution\u2019s academic structure, core values, and expectations.<\/p>\n

During the session, members of the administration inspired boarding students with renewed confidence, underscoring the college\u2019s mission and vision. They assured students of a transformative academic journey rooted in excellence, discipline, and a strong commitment to human rights advocacy.<\/p>\n

Addressing participants, the administration emphasized that the institution is dedicated to nurturing future professionals equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with integrity and a deep understanding of human rights principles. Students were encouraged to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them as pioneers of the institution.<\/p>\n

The college is set to officially open on Monday, 1st March 2026, marking the beginning of its first academic term and a new chapter in professional studies in Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the administration has announced that admissions remain open, welcoming more students to join the inaugural cohort. Members of this first batch are expected to benefit from a 50 percent scholarship on tuition fees, a move aimed at broadening access to quality education.<\/p>\n
