Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>Former Leone Stars Captain and CEO of Kallon FC, Mohamed Kallon has today disclosed his new coaching achievement on his Facebook handle as he displayed his National A-Youth Coaching License and B License certificate from the U.S. Soccer Federation.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person, called a coach, supports a learner or client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance. Inorder a team to succeed in any competition despite having good players, it also needs a good coach to lead the team well.<\/p>\n

As the American saying goes \u201cBetter Coaches Better Players\u201d, this means when you have good and qualified coaches in a football team, the chances of the team becoming stronger is great. Sierra Leone among other developing countries is facing challenges in the football sector. This ranges from the lack of standard playing fields to funding challenges over the past government.<\/p>\n

Despite all the challenges faced before, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has really improved the football sector at a better level over these years. With this regards, Mohamed Kallon commended the efforts of SLFA and the Ministry of sports for prioritizing grassroots football development in Sierra Leone.\u201cI must say kudos to SLFA and the Ministry of sports for prioritizing grassroots football development in SL.\u201d Mohamed Kallon mentioned. Notwithstanding the fact that the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association has played significant role over the years as president of SLFA, Mohamed Kallon reminded on other improvements that needed attention, and especially the coaching department. \u201cSLFA should invest big time in our coaching department for better football education.\u201d He concluded.On his Facebook handle he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cYes it\u2019s going to be a long journey with our grassroots football development, looking at the lack of standard playing fields around the country,But I must say kudos to SLFA and the Ministry of sports for prioritizing grassroots football development in SL.<\/p>\n
