Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. <\/strong><\/span>The All People\u2019s Congress Party APC has issued a public notice with regards information on social media calling on APC supporters and the public to strike on the 8th of August 2022.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The notice stated that, the leadership of the party is unaware of such plans and disassociate themselves from such information.<\/p>\n

It warns the public especially members of the All people\u2019s Congress to refuse calls from social media bloggers to engage in any activity that would ignite security threats in the country.The notice further stated that, the APC as an opposition party is a democratic and law abiding political party that will engage on progressive and constructive dialogue on issues that bothers around national interest and concerns across the country and it people.<\/p>\n

The notice ends by calling on all members of the APC to be law abiding and follow due procedures of law enforcement bodies, therefore refuting the 8th of August 2022 strike and assure the public of continue peace and unity in the APC party to ensure their people are fully represented.<\/p>\n
