Africa-Press – South-Africa. Five women were raped, one man was shot, and six others were assaulted after armed men stormed two funeral parlours in Malipsdrift, Limpopo.
The incidents happened on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, said the gunmen first kidnapped two women who were walking along the R37 road, while on their way to visit a friend working at Wisani Burial Society.
Upon arrival at the funeral parlour, the gunmen shot and wounded one employee.

They then proceeded to a second funeral parlour, where three women and six men were working.
Mojapelo said:
Some of the women were also assaulted, added Mojapelo.
The victims were taken to hospital.
Police are investigating charges of rape, kidnapping, attempted murder, and business robbery.
