Africa-Press – South-Africa. Despite receiving several goalscoring chances to complete his hat-trick, star striker Peter Shalulile scored twice as Nedbank Cup defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns dominated Richards Bay to a 3-2 victory at Loftus Versfeld on Tuesday.
The Namibian netted within eleven minutes of the first-half before Nkanyiso Zungu equalised from the penalty spot for the visiting side. A minute into the second half, Mosa Lebusa leaped beyond two Richards Bay defenders to regain the lead for Sundowns.
Shalulile completed his brace with a neat finish, while Onyango could not adjust his feet in time and slipped as Katleho Makateng’s long-range shot rattled the back of the net on the cusp of the full-time whistle as Richards Bay pulled a goal back for the match to end 3-2.
