Africa-Press – South-Africa. The South African Weather Service has warned of conditions that could lead to extremely high fire danger for certain parts of the Northern Cape.

Fire danger warnings:

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kai !Garib Local Municipality in the Northern Cape.

The weather in your region:
Gauteng will be fine and cool.

The expected UVB sunburn index is extreme.

Morning fog patches are expected along the escarpment of Mpumalanga, otherwise it will be fine and cool but warm on the lowveld.

Fine and cool to warm conditions are forecast for Limpopo.

The North West will be cool to warm.

Fine and cool conditions are expected over the Free State.

Morning fog is expected along the Northern Cape coast, otherwise it will be fine and cool to warm.

The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly.

It will be cloudy with fog along the coast and north-eastern interior of the Western Cape in the morning and evening, otherwise fine and cool to warm conditions are expected.

The wind along the coast will be a light north-easterly in the south in the morning, becoming south-westerly in the evening, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.

It will be cloudy with fog in the Eastern Cape in the morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the south-east during the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly from late morning.

KwaZulu-Natal will be fine and cool but warm in places.

It will become partly cloudy in the east by evening.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming moderate southerly to south-easterly in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.
