From that day on, David and the sales manager would develop a close relationship.

The sales manager testified he sold David a Golf GTI, a VW Polo, BMW M5, Porsche Carera 4S and two identical Mercedes Benz G-Wagon’s after David crashed his first one.

The sales manager said David bought all the cars cash in US dollars.

“Me being a salesman, I demo’d the car to accused number one [David]. What’s in the car, like CDs and stuff like that. From there onwards, I took him to the director [of the car dealership] and they discussed the prices and stuff like that. From there onwards, my job is done.” he added.
