Africa-Press – South-Africa. The National Sea Rescue Institute has issued yet another national safety appeal warning the public that rip currents and sea currents are stronger than usual during the current full moon spring tide.
The NSRI said search efforts continue for multiple people who went missing in drowning accidents in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.
Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said police will correspond with families for formal identification in the event that their bodies are recovered.
