At the time of Ramela\u2019s suspension, the board\u2019s chairman, retired constitutional court judge, Zak Yacoob, accused Ramela of being \u201cobstructive,\u201d and said he was shocked by the conduct of the former president of the SA Cricketers Association, which represents the country\u2019s professional players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s a young man, who believes that every word that comes out of his mouth is the biblical truth and that if anybody begins to disagree with a word he says you are greeted with a great deal of anger,\u201d Yacoob said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Ramela claimed he was being victimised. \u201cI\u2019ve been constantly asking the tough questions,\u201d Ramela had said. \u201cSome people are comfortable with that, some people are not. That\u2019s been my position on the board.
