Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>A candidate attorney at Malabye Mthembu Attorneys and Partners appeared in court for allegedly stealing R3.8 million from the firm’s trust fund account.<\/p>\n

According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Onga Ntozini, 32, appeared in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Monday.<\/p>\n

He was charged with two counts of theft.<\/p>\n

NPA spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said Ntozini allegedly swindled the firm by emptying its trust fund account between November and December 2020.<\/p>\n

The matter was postponed to 20 April for disclosure of the docket.<\/p>\n
