Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>The Hawks in Mpumalanga are searching for a man who allegedly gunned down his girlfriend and her police officer sister.<\/p>\n

The incident happened just over a week ago.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Hawks named Rassie Nkuna as a suspect in the double murder, which took place on 15 May in KaNyamazane.<\/p>\n

According to Captain Dineo Sekgotodi, there was allegedly a dispute between Nkuna and his girlfriend, Marcia Mazibuko, 43.<\/p>\n

When Mazibuko’s sister, Sergeant Pretty Mazibuko, 42, tried to intervene and “calm the situation”, Nkuna allegedly drew his firearm and shot both of them.<\/p>\n

“They were rushed to a nearby clinic and were certified dead on arrival. The suspect fled the scene, and the incident was reported to the police.”<\/p>\n

Sekgotodi confirmed that a court had issued a warrant of arrest for Nkuna.<\/p>\n
