Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Three individuals are expected to appear in court this week after eight people were shot and killed in Gugulethu, Cape Town, during a traditional cleansing ceremony in June last year.<\/p>\n

Two of the alleged killers were arrested earlier this month, and a third was caught during a tracing operation on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The trio are from Philippi East and Gugulethu.<\/p>\n

Eighth person dies after shooting spree at traditional ceremony in Gugulethu<\/p>\n

They will appear in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, said police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa.<\/p>\n

“At the time of the shooting, reports suggested that the gunman pulled up in front of the house and fired several shots before leaving in their vehicle.”<\/p>\n
