Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>A 58-year-old teacher has been arrested in Limpopo for the murder of his wife, his daughter, and a man he believed to be his wife’s lover.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on Monday at the family’s home in Bothashoek, Dithabaneng village, near Burgersfort.<\/p>\n

Police spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, said members of the community alerted officers to the incident at about 23:00.<\/p>\n

“Upon arrival, they discovered three lifeless bodies of two females and a male with gunshot wounds. The suspect was later traced and arrested,” he said.<\/p>\n

The women were identified as Themina Clara Morema, 42, and Nomasonto Morema, 24. The man’s identity is still unknown.<\/p>\n

The teacher works at a primary school.<\/p>\n

Mojapelo added:<\/p>\n

Provincial police commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, described the incident as “horrific and shocking”.<\/p>\n

“We urge community members to seek help when they encounter domestic challenges and desist from resorting to extreme violence,” she added.<\/p>\n

The teacher is expected to appear in the Praktiseer Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
