Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Gauteng police have launched a manhunt after seven suspects attacked and bombed a cash-in-transit van in Tembisa on Saturday.<\/p>\n

National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said a G4S vehicle was driving along Montjane Street in Liliba Section, Tembisa when a white Mercedes Benz C-Class rammed the cash van on the rear right side.<\/p>\n

“According to a preliminary report, seven suspects started shooting and took the G4S guards out of the van before they bombed it,” said Mathe.<\/p>\n

No one was injured.<\/p>\n

Police said the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money in a white single-cab Ford Ranger with a Limpopo registration.<\/p>\n

“One G4S guard was robbed of his 9mm pistol. The investigation continues,” said Mathe.<\/p>\n
