Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Power utility Eskom has made more changes to its load shedding schedule, continuing the haphazard pattern of suddenly shifting stages in line with the instability of the grid.<\/p>\n

The group said that load shedding will now drop to stage 2 from 09h00 on Tuesday (5 December) before ramping back up to stage 3 at 16h00.<\/p>\n

Stage 3 load shedding will continue until 16h00 on Wednesday; thereafter, stage 4 load shedding will be implemented from 16h00 until 05h00, followed by stage 3 until 16h00 on Friday.<\/p>\n

The utility said that the downgrade is due to improved generation capacity and adequate emergency reserves.<\/p>\n

The group previously communicated a rotation between stage 3 and stage 4 for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n
