Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>They have ticked an important box by qualifying for the last 16 at Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) where they will play against Morocco on Tuesday, but Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams says they want more.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Bafana drew 0-0 with Tunisia during the week to secure safe passage to the next round in this entertaining tournament that resumes with Angola against Namibia and a West African derby between Nigeria and Cameroon on Saturday. \u201cWe have progressed to the next round which is what we wanted but we haven\u2019t achieved or won anything yet. We are happy that we have progressed but there is so much more we want to achieve as a team,\u201d Williams said as they prepared to face World Cup semi-finalists Morocco.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we sit in the lounge or in our rooms watching the game to get the feel of what this Afcon is about. We learnt the hard way in the first game where we lost to Mali and from there we had to show a different side to us. \u201cIn the three games at the tournament so far we have played three different ways like building up from the back, going direct and we can fight and we can be physical as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams praised Bafana for being able to adapt to situations and change their style of play.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a good thing and the most important thing is the humility and flexibility players have shown to be able to change the style of play and to listen to the instructions from the coach and be more direct.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what helped us to be in the next round. This tournament is tough and for us it is not all about playing good football. That is what we are known for but results are more important and the guys have seen that.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is the general talk among the players and for me hearing the guys speaking and picking up on those things is amazing, it shows that we are watching the games and we are studying the tournament and that\u2019s what it takes to be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n
