Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Funzi Ngobeni and the party\u2019s youth forum chairperson, Hluphi Gafane, were hijacked on Tusday night by armed men in Centurion.<\/p>\n

ActionSA Gauteng premier candidate, Funzi Ngobeni, has relayed details of his harrowing four-hour hijacking and kidnapping ordeal.<\/p>\n

Ngobeni and the party\u2019s youth forum chairperson, Hluphi Gafane, were hijacked on Tuesday night by armed men in Centurion.<\/p>\n

Ngobeni said that he was more committed in his fight against crime after being victim to a four-hour hijacking and kidnapping ordeal.<\/p>\n

Ngobeni and Gafane were hijacked at gunpoint by three men outside Gafane\u2019s home in Centurion on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media on Wednesday afternoon during the unveiling of their Gauteng election poster, Ngobeni said that he engaged with one of the gunmen.<\/p>\n

“He kept on saying: ‘We don\u2019t want to keep doing what we are doing. We are pushed by poverty, we are pushed by everything happening in this country… corruption.’ This is a thug who was saying these things to us,” Ngubane said.<\/p>\n

Ngobeni said that while he was grateful that their lives were spared, he aims to take a firm stance in the fight against criminals holding citizens at ransom.<\/p>\n
