Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Former president Jacob Zuma has told his uMkhonto weSizwe party supporters that he will continue to challenge the 2024 general election results.<\/p>\n

He claims they were rigged.<\/p>\n

The party became the third largest in the country and the most-voted for party in KwaZulu-Natal after contesting the polls for the first time in May.<\/p>\n

Zuma maintained his stance that the polls were not fair nor free, insisting he would challenge the outcome.<\/p>\n

This despite having withdrawn a court application challenging the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) results of the 2024 general polls.<\/p>\n

The uMkhonto weSizwe party said it would continue to fight for what it believes were its stolen votes.<\/p>\n

Zuma addressed his supporters on Thursday, following his arms deal case in Pietermaritzburg.<\/p>\n

“Remember that in the recent election, we did well, but thieves decided to steal our votes. So let me make this clear because some voters raised worry with this. Our fight over the election results is not over because we were robbed, and we have strong evidence to prove this.”<\/p>\n

Zuma also promised that he would visit different provinces to thank his voters.<\/p>\n
