Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>An Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command (EFFSC) member, in Limpopo, has been expelled by the party.<\/p>\n

Kganki Mphahlele got into an online spat with the party’s president, Julius Malema.<\/p>\n

Mpahlele, a second-year political sciences student at the University of Limpopo, says his membership termination is procedurally unfair.<\/p>\n

In his post on X, Mpahlele accused Malema of trying to \u201cimpose\u201d Godrich Gardee as the party\u2019s deputy president.<\/p>\n

Mphahlele wrote that EFF branches prefer Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi for the deputy president position.<\/p>\n

Malema responded to Mphahlele and said, \u201cTry me boys\u201d.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Mpahlele received an expulsion letter from the EFFSC.<\/p>\n

The letter says Mphahlele brought the organisation into disrepute by using his social media platforms to defame and insult the party’s leaders.<\/p>\n

Mpahlele says he\u2019s being punished for endorsing someone whom the EFF’s leadership does not favour.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the very same one they started because they said to us we must not be indoors or lobby on media, but they are doing the same thing. The commander in chief is retweeting posters of Godrich Gardee posted by the leaders of the party.\u201d<\/p>\n

The EEF will have its third elective conference, where new leadership will be elected later this year.<\/p>\n
